Training - Gender Biases Against Women
As part of Gender Equality Plan MU (GEP), a training session focused on the issue of gender stereotypes.
In recent years, interest in positioning of women in science has been growing. Masaryk University, and therefore also our faculty, is currently collecting research data regarding positioning of women-scientists as employees.
We realise that gender is an area where still exists space for improvement. Therefore, we enriched web pages of the Facuty of Science, MU with Women in Science, Women at the Faculty of Science, MU Section. We share experience of our scientists in the area of work life balance and their views on positioning of women in science there. Furthermore, statistic data related to the position of women in the Czech science and information sources focused on this topic can be found there.
A more detailed look at the specific position of women in science, including women at our faculty, was led by our HR Excellence in Research Award/ HRS4R project, but also by the current focus on this topic in general, including the preparation of the new Horizon Europe research funding framework program. which supports activities in the field of gender equality as one of the basic values of research.
