Hybridizace je fenomen bezne zaznamenany u ryb. Mru parazitizmu u hybridu lze vysvetlit na zaklade dvou
hypotez: 1) koadaptace mezi genotypem hostitele a genotypem parazita. Predpoklada se, ze geny MHC se
vyvjely v koevoluci se specickymi parazity. 2) Super-optimaln individualn MHC diverzita u hybridu je
spojena s vyss parazitarn infekc, protoze repertoar jejich T bunek je redukovany z duvodu vysokeho poctu
ruznych MHC variant jako dusledek mezidruhoveho krzen. Navc, ekologicke aspekty (prostorova a trocka
pozice) mohou take urcovat mru parazitace u hybridu. Studovana bude parazitarn infekce u koexistujcch
rodicovsko-hybridnch systemu (kongenericky a nekongenericky modelovy system) a jejich vztah k polymor- zmu MHC IIB genu. Efekt hybridizace na hostitelskou specitu bude testovan experimentalne. Vcenasobne
hybridizace mohou vest ke vzniku asexualnch forem spojenych s polyploidizac. Bude studovano jestli asexu-
aln triploidi (nebo jejich bezny MHC klon) jsou tercem selekce parazitu v diploidne-triploidnch populacch
karasa strbriteho.
