Projekt je zaměřen na výzkum bioty vysychavých toků na západo-východním gradientu změny typu klimatu od oceanického po kontinentální. Je řešen ve spolupráci s francouizkým výkumným pracovištěm IRSTEA Lyon a bude zabývat dopadem na vodní oraganizmy na malých (regionálních) a velkých (kontinentálních) škálách i ve vztahu k probíhající klimatické změně.
