The goal of this project is to develop a modern game-based software environment that will help teachers identify and individually develop the potential of talented 2nd grade elementary school students in STEM. The software will enable students to recognize and develop their potential in scientific reasoning and stimulate their interest. The first module will identify, through online game-based psychodiagnostic tests, cognitive skills that are often applied in these areas. The second module will consist of interactive computer simulations, set in a scientific context, in which students will conduct experiments and learn. Underpinning the system will be a database with a new algorithm for continuous and accurate assessment of students' abilities and their learning process.
