The aim of the study of Upper Secondary School Teacher Training in French Language and Literature is to prepare a qualified and competent teacher of French language and literature, who is comprehensively educated for teaching at secondary schools and language schools or companies where French is taught as a foreign language. The input language competence is at the C1 level according to the CEFR; the output language competence is at the C2 level. They have excellent language competence and wide literary and cultural background in their field, being fully proficient in the four main skills of language learning.
“No language is foreign if the guide is a good teacher.”
Students receive six weeks of continuous practical training each semester. This practical internship includes, on the one hand, hours of observation and reflection on the experiences acquired during the lessons and on the other, the hours they teach in class with a tutor. Reflection on feedback is an integral part of Teacher Training Seminars.
